SUMMARY:Thursday Night PDGA Weekly at New Quarter Park
DESCRIPTION:Starting Thursday June 3rd at New Quarter Park\,  a 10 week PDGA sanctioned league begins. One round of of singles format playing short tees to current basket positions at that time.  \nEntry Fee: (each week) \n$15 for the Open division  \n$10 for all other divisions \nTime:  \nRegistration starts at 5pm \nTee Time at 6pm \nGroups will be sent out  earlier as the field fills. \nPayout: \nWeekly payout  to the top 1/3 places in each division.  Overall payout for the 10 week series to the top 3 players in each division. Players earning the most points awarded by the PDGA will be used to determine the top 3 players in each division at the end of 10 weeks. \nPlayers are responsible for park fee and need to check in at the park office before signing up at hole 1.

DESCRIPTION:United States Amateur Match Play Doubles Championships — \nColonial Bracket — \nWinning teams qualify to play in the Championship Bracket in Emporia\, Kansas June 24-27th\, 2021. There are only 8 team spots available for this bracket. Player’s packs will be ordered once the bracket fills. If more teams are interested in playing\, I can run another local bracket for an additional 8 teams. All registration is done through the Udisc app.  For more information on the USAMPC Double Championship\, please go to: Player Info – Doubles – United States Amateur Match Play Championships (discgolfmatchplay.com) \nThis local bracket is scheduled over a six week period beginning on April 19\, 2021 and will complete by May 23\, 2021. Three rounds are scheduled with two weeks to complete each round. Teams are welcome to complete rounds earlier than scheduled including the championship match as long as all remaining teams agree. Teams are welcome to schedule their matches at any 18 hole course in the local 757 area code. Time and place should be agreed upon by both teams within the given schedule. Matches should be communicated to the TD beforehand and afterwards with results. Matches must be completed before the scheduled start date of the next round. In the event teams cannot agree on a time or a place\, then all remaining matches will be scheduled for May 22\,2021 at New Quarter Park starting at 9am. \nThe registration fee for each player is $45 or $90 per team and is non refundable. \nRegister at — https://udisc.com/matchplay/doubles/virginia/williamsburg \nPlayers will receive a Dynamic Discs Prime Moonshine Emac Judge and Latitude 64 Opto SPZ2 in their player pack. DESCRIPTION:24th Annual Colonial Ice Bowl – Jan 30\,2021 \nThis year’s Ice Bowl was a tremendous success! There was still some snow and ice left on the ground before teeing off Saturday morning. 122 disc golfers came out to support the local community\, play a round of disc golf\, and set a new record. Our goal was to raise $1\,000 and 500lbs for food for the York County Food Closet and we more than did that.  We were able to bring in $3250 and 700lbs of food for the food bank. This kind of generosity will go a long way when it is now needed more than ever.  Thank you to everyone for making this the best Ice Bowl ever! \nTim Dempsey \nPresident\, CDGC

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 23rd Annual Colonial Spring Pro/Am. Our tournament season starts off at Newport News Park. This is the course where it all started in 1998. Newport News Park Disc Golf Course is a well maintained course that is easily accessible.  Sign up for this tournament at discgolfscene.com \nThe Colonial Spring Pro/Am will consist of two rounds of 20 holes. There will be a one hour lunch break between rounds. Lunch is not provided and there are plenty of choices for lunch within a short distance from the park. Awards will follow the second round. \nThis is also the second day of Killer B’s weekend. The Coastal Virginia Disc Golf Club will be hosting the first day with the 14th Annual Spring Pro/Am at Bayville Farms Park in Virginia Beach on Saturday April 18\, 2020. Each tournament is a stand alone event and playing both events is not required. Players that do play both events will be competing for the Killer Bs trophy. Each tournament has seperate registrations. You can find the COVA registration at: dgscene.com/2020SpringProAm\nPreregistration is highly recommended. Day of registration will be available at the park as long as we are not filled. A $5 day of registration will apply.

SUMMARY:21st Annual Fall Colors
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 21st Annual Fall Colors – PDGA ‘A’ tier disc golf tournament. This year\, the Amateur and Pro fields will play on separate weekends. All players will have an opportunity to play two of the best public disc golf courses in Virginia. Both New Quarter Park in York County\, VA and Waller Mill Park in Williamsburg\, VA will be used exclusively for both weekends.\nAm weekend will be on October 27-28\, 2018 and Pro weekend will be Nov 3-4\, 2018. The first round each day will tee off at 9am with lunch provided between rounds. Players will remain at their assigned courses for the second round and move to the opposite park the next morning. All divisions will play 4 rounds over the weekend with the awards ceremony following at each park. \n*EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT AND RAFFLE- Signup before Oct 1st and get $5 off and a chance to win an annual disc golf pass to each local disc golf course. SUMMARY:2018 Old Dominion Club Championship
DESCRIPTION:October 13-14\, 2018 \nCourse – To be announced \n \nThe Old Dominion Club Championship is a team match play tournament between active Virginia disc golf clubs. This tournament is based on the Virginia Team Invitational (VTI) for pro players. Only amateur players are eligible to compete. Players that are registered as a pro but have never accepted cash may be considered for play.\nEach team will consist of 7 players. (3 Advanced\, 2 Intermediate\, 1 Lady\, and 1 Master)\nThe 2018 Colonial ODCC team roster will be decided by match play throughout the summer. Players interested in competing for the team will need to contact the club by March 31\, 2018. Eligibility for the Colonial team only requires an active 2018 club membership and availability to play the weekend of Oct 14\, 2018.\nMore details for the match play qualifying will announced soon.

The weeklies use rules like our PDGA events. Multiple divisions are offered for players of varying levels of skill. Prizes awarded each week to the top 1/3 of each division. \nTime: \nApril thru August \nRegistration 5:30pm\nTee Time 6:00pm \nSeptember thru November\nRegistration 5:00pm — Tee Time 5:30pm \nEntry Fees: \nOpen division ——- $12*\nAll other divisions — $8*\n(Master/Adv/Int/Rec) \n• *$2 discount for current Colonial Disc Golf Club members \nOptional: Ace Pot $1 and CTP contest $1 \nFour divisions are currently offered. Recreational division is typically for the beginning player. The Rec division will play from the short tees most of the summer. A typical winning score in the Rec division is a par 54 from the short tees. As a player progresses\, the Intermediate and Advanced divisions are offered\, as well as the Open and Master divisions. The Adv/Int/Rec divisions are awarded with disc golf merchandise or banking points for club members.
